Music enriches our lives in many ways, and studying an instrument can provide countless developmental benefits for children and an enjoyable creative outlet for adults. My students are encouraged to embrace a holistic approach to piano playing, allowing them to explore all aspects of the music they play---from the history of the instrument, to the fundamentals of the music, to the composers themselves. Combining these elements with a healthy physicality at the piano offers my students a truly comprehensive study of the instrument. By tailoring lessons to my students’ learning style, I can relate the study of piano to their areas of interest. As my young students progress, they'll begin to think more critically and explore their creative potential, while my adult students will gain a new skill that provides a diversion from the stresses of life and will bring them years of joy.

The lessons my students learn extend far beyond the studio walls because music fosters curiosity and development in other areas of our lives. That's why my lifelong passion has been to communicate great music to others. The years I've spent teaching young pianists, coaching opera singers, and performing onstage have proven time and again that no matter how old we are, music can open our hearts and minds to endless possibilities.
